Nashville here we come!!

Nana, Pop, and I got up early early Thursday morning and headed to Nashville. The plan was to help my Nana's sister (Aunt Carrie) clean out her barn full of antics (junk). Well needless to say we didn't get the much accomplished. We had such good intentions of getting a lot done, but it just didn't work out that way. Aunt Carrie's birthday was celebrated by going to the Chaffin's Dinner Theater where we saw the comedy "There goes the Bride". We had a great time and overdid ourselves on the complimentary chocolate chip cookies. The next night the whole family and some of Aunt Carrie's friends went out to eat at a mexican restaurant there in town. This is where we really celebrated her 75th birthday! While I was there I was able to spend a little bit of time with each of the kids. They are all so sweet and just so much fun. My cousin Paige really hooked me up with a bunch of goodies for my shabby chic apartment theme. Nana and I were able to go downtown one afternoon and have lunch at Merridee's. We had so much fun just walking around down there window shopping. I love spending time with her. Uncle Alan also took Nana, Pop, and me to the flee market on Saturday. We found a lot of great stuff we would have loved to have brought home with us. We thought . . . why go buy junk when we can just go rummage through the barn and see what we can find! So thats what we did. All in all it was a great trip. I always enjoy seeing that side of the family.

Aunt Carrie and her birthday hat!

Such a cute little barn. . .

Full of sooo much stuff!!!
Dinner Theater for our birthdays! The best part of the whole night was watching my Pop laugh so hard he had tears. He didn't want to go and he laughed harder than any one of us!

A little older and a little wiser. . .

I have spent the week in Little Rock with Gini and her family so she made sure to make my birthday special! She had me a bag full of goodies for me first thing yesterday morning. I couldn't believe that she had time to get something together for me. . . we had been getting things together like crazy for Grantly's party the past few days. Gini, Jim, Laura, Grant, and Macy all took me out to eat at the Villa in Little Rock. Macy slept the entire time and Grant kept us entertained. The food was wonderful and the company was even better! We had a great time. . . The waitress even brought us some chocolate cake. It was amazing. Grant and Gini sang to me and it was beautiful! Thanks again for making my birthday a special one!

Sweet Little Macy!

I am in Little Rock this week keeping my cousins little girl Macy. She will be 4 months on the 28th. She is one of the most happy babies I have ever been around. She talks and talks and will just laugh at you like you are the funniest thing ever!

Just chatting after she woke up this morning!

I laid her down crying. . . I went to make her a bottle and when I returned I found this! She was out. She slept just like this for an hour.

She was just a talking to me and telling me all about it!

I had my friend Catherine make her this TuTu. . . I figured it was going to bother her and she would be upset while i tried to take her picture. She actually loved it! She liked the texture of the material.

We had already done tummy time for the morning and it didn't go so hot. . . I didn't think this was going to go over very well. I was soo wrong! She laid there for at least 5 minutes. . . which is a long time compared to the 3 minutes she was able to go this morning before screaming her head off!

I put on her baby einstein movie and she immediately started talking! She is soo cute! I just love talking to her. . . Over the past couple of days we have solved soo many of the worlds problems! :)

Sugarland and George Straight

Ashley got us tickets for my birthday! Sugarland has become my new favorite group over the past year and Ash has always just "loved" good 'ole George. . . The Finnell's came by and picked us up because they had a parking pass. We weren't about to sit with them, but it kept us from having to walk. . . The traffic was sorta ridiculous, but like I said. . . With the Finnell's its always fun!

Bumper to Bumper
Cramped in the car! Ash was a good sport. . .

The whole group! Including George in the background!

All the way to the top. . . and I mean ALL the way to the top! :)
We were so far up that they offered Binoculars for rent! haha. . . I couldn't help but laugh!
I though this was cute! Its a little H with a cowboy hat and boots. They are randomly placed in the wall in the arena.
The view from our "box" seat!
Outside Reliant Stadium. . . Thank you again Ash for the VIP treatment!
